“Try to learn something about everything and everything about something”.
The above quote describes me as a person and as a student. This has been my driving force for all the accomplishments of my educational career. My motivation has always been at its peak beginning from the early years at the high school through to the undergraduate school. My desire and enthusiasm to learn more about Electronic gadgets has been improving since my Science fairs in schooling about Electro-Magnetism, Pollution control machine, etc., right from my childhood I also had a strong inclination to be an good Electronic Engineer by inventing beneficial things to human kind at low price ,so I opted for Electronics and Communications Engineering since I understood that this branch would help me to understand various gadgets along with the computers. Now I have come to a point where I can transfer my hardware skills acquired in the past four years to earn an M.Sc in Electronics.
My schooling infused in me a keen sense of scientific temperament, Quantitative abilities and this instilled in me a special interest towards mathematics and physical sciences. With a sound background I have successfully completed my 10 years of schooling and secured 98% in Mathematics and 79% in General Science with overall aggregate 78.2% in my X standard. In my Intermediate (12th class) this keen interest in Mathematics and Physics enabled me to secure 99.4% in Mathematics and 96.7% in physics with overall 94.2%. Whenever I was a new gadget I have the curiosity to know how it works and how it made of, this intension triggered me to create new mini projects for real-time applications. By exhibiting these projects in Science fairs I won few prizes. It was at this time that I developed a fascination for the multidisciplinary facet of Electronics and Communications in Audisankara College of Engineering affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
The Four years of my under graduation helped me master the core subjects Electronic Devices and circuits, Pulse and Digital Circuits, Signals and Systems, Electronic Circuit Analysis, Linear and Digital IC Applications, Digital Signal Processing, Analog Communications, Switching Theory and Logic Design and VLSI. In this context Its pleasure to mention my Asst. professor Mr. Bharath who changed my life to next level by gifting me a Electronics For You Magazine. Being a electronic hobbyist I was regular reader of EFY Mag since 2010. Further, I got the great opportunity of connecting with Electrical Engineers around the world was possible by becoming a member of EFY subscriber. Being one of the members to join in Facebook group, we discuss about the various magazines monthly which has the most intricate details on the latest technologies. These meetings give me a great chance to share ideas and improve my knowledge in latest trends technologies, DIY circuits and Sources of electronic components etc.,My effort to be the very best in every field has not prevented me from broadening my perspectives in my field of interest. Towards this end, I am well versed with programming in C language, Java, operating system like Linux, Windows and software tools like MATLAB, Multisim, and Verilog HDL.
Project 1: By analyzing a concept published in magazine I have done a mini project with my friends by changing few components and designed “Body Motion Information collection Using Mems”. In this Platform we collect related information about human body motion timely and accurately, so that more penetrating scientific study will be carried out about human body motions it utilizes Mems technology to gather multiple-point accelerations information which can be processed or transmitted to advanced computers to be comprehensively analyzed. The platform has already applied successfully in computer games operation and got good comments from the users who have tried to use it. We won 2nd price by exhibiting this project at National Science Expo.
Project 2: My B.E final year project titled” Classification of micro calcification using Shearlet transform and Support Vector Machine”. During this project we have detected benign and malign state of breast cancer. Mammography is the most reliable method we used to diagnose breast cancer at the earliest. In this project, an efficient approach to classify masses in the Mammography Image Analysis Society (MIAS) database mammogram images is presented. The key features used for the classification is the energies of shearlet decomposed image. These features are fed into SVM classifier to classify mass/non mass images and also benign/malignant.
My penchant for Image processing using Digitalization of computer based images made me to participate, present and publish Technical papers about Optical Camouflage Technology in reputed IIT and universities like ELAN-2K13 of IIT-Hyderabad, Pramana-2K13 of GITAM university, Prathyak-2K11 of SASTRA university.
Providing my leadership skills I’ve organized Four National Level Technical and Departmental Symposiums in my college such as PRAYAG-2K13 & 2K14, CATECHIZE-2K14, FLAIR-2K13 and as a student club member I’ve volunteered in every placement program conducted and even assisted all students during any computer based program.
Part-time Employment, My mom is a Biological teacher and she usually conducts free tuition classes to their Students at home. In my childhood days I started teaching to those students occasionally and later on it become as a passion to teach and to earn money for my personal needs. Since 2007 I was working as a mathematics and science tutor to my junior students at their homes 2times per day. These teaching classes boosted up my study career by learning and teaching them new concept as well as they got good results by following my strategies which makes me to feel proud. In an end, from their feedback I came to know that I was one of the good tutors to them.
Apart from my Educational qualities, Since my childhood I was a skilled player in Badminton, tennikoit, 100m and 200 sprints my PET master made me to participate in Zonal and District level meets and won medals and Cups for school. I’ve continued playing those games to keep my body fit and to improve my professional skills.
A Masters in ECE from an UK university that pairs students with highly qualified teachers, engaged in IOT and theoretical concept on nanorobotics research would be the next logical step in my career. My web research to identify a reputed university where I can get associated with research work in the areas of my interest has led me to _________University.
I believe that I possess the basic aptitude, knowledge base, discipline and perseverance to do well as a student in the Master’s Program at ____. I sincerely hope to have an opportunity to pursue graduate studies at__________________ University.
